Both Sensex-Nifty reach green mark due to increase in Reliance Industries share
Mumbai. The Sensex opened more than 200 points on Tuesday on the rise in shares of big companies like Reliance Industries, ICICI Bank and Infosys amidst the inflow of foreign funds . The BSE 30-share Sensex gained 210.93 points or 0.55 per cent to 38,261.71 in early trade . Similarly, the Nifty of the National Stock Exchange was up 65.30 points or 0.58 percent at 11,312.40 points. ONGC shares in the Sensex companies rose nearly two percent.
Reliance Industries, ICICI Bank, Mahindra & Mahindra, Infosys, Titan, Bajaj Finance and Bajaj Finserv were also profitable. On the other hand, Tata Steel, PowerGrid, IndusInd Bank, Axis Bank and SBI were trading at a loss. In the previous session, the Sensex gained 173.44 points or 0.46 percent to end at 38,050.78 points and the Nifty gained 68.70 points or 0.61 percent to end at 11,247.10 points.
