CM KCR appreciates donations pouring in for Relief Fund

Hyderabad: The flow of humanitarian assistance to the Chief Minister Relief Fund for the poor who have been affected by the ongoing shut down is going stronger day by day. Megha Infrastructure Limited Chairman and Managing Director PV Krishna Reddy has handed over a cheque for Rs 5 crore to the CMRF on Thursday. He handed over the cheque to Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao at Pragathi Bhavan. The Chief Minister thanked Krishna Reddy for his kind gesture.

Several others also commended the steps taken by the TRS government to curb the spread of the dreaded Virus in the state. Among the prominent people that have declared donations to the relief fund is KI Varaprasada Reddy of Santa Biotech met Chief Minister and handed over a cheque of Rs 1 crore and 116 rupees to the Chief Minister. KNR Constructions chief Kamidi Narsimha Reddy also met the Chief Minister and donated Rs 1 crore to the CMRF.

Laurus Labs, CEO Dr Satyanarayana and Executive Director Chandrakanth Chereddy met Chief Minister and announced distribution of Hydroxy Chloroquin tablets on behalf of their company. They also handed over a cheque for Rs 50 lakh. The chief Minister not only thanked all the donors for their generous gesture but also will encourage the administration to step up the relief works with renewed vigour.

On the other hand, Hyderabad based Meenakshi Group has declared Rs 1 crore for the CMRF. Company Chairman KS Rao and Managing Director C Sivaji handed over the cheque to state IT Minister KT Rama Rao at Pragathi Bhavan on Thursday. GPK Exports and Imports owners Phani Kumar and Karnala Sailaja Reddy handed over 4 ,000 masks useful for the doctors treating the patients affected by Corona, to KT Rama Rao .

Real Estate Developers Association CREDAI also declared Rs 1 crore for the CMRF and handed over a cheque to KT Rama Rao on Thursday.
