Uttar Pradesh Legislature Budget Session: First day worse than expected, Opposition uproar outside Vidhan Bhavan
The first day of the budget session of the Legislature in UP was considered very important for the public. Because very important decisions were to be made on this day. But this legislative session is predictable as it is. Outside the courtyard of the Vidhan Bhavan, Congress MLAs are demonstrating with the Samajwadi Party. All these are protesting in front of the Chaudhary Charan Singh statue in the Vidhan Sabha building in protest against inflation, CAA and NRC and farmers harassment.
The first day of the Legislature's budget session has become rude. The opposition here is under siege of Yogi Adityanath government on issues like law and order, farmers' problems with inflation and the law and order situation. Before the commencement of the budget session, the Samajwadi Party MLAs along with Congress sat on a dharna under the statue of Charan Singh in Vidhan Bhavan. Members of both houses of Congress along with the Samajwadi Party targeted the government over the citizenship amendment law, unemployment, inflation, atrocities on women, problems of sugarcane, paddy and potato farmers. All the MLAs and members of the Legislative Council of the Samajwadi Party sat for about an hour on the dharna near the statue of Chaudhary Charan Singh. Legislators had placards in their hands, along with this, they were also raising slogans of Save the Constitution, Save the country.
Leader of Opposition in the Legislative Council Ahmed Hassan was also present in this protest to be held under the leadership of anti-Samajwadi Party leader Ram Govind Chaudhary. All MLAs and MLCs of the Samajwadi Party were present during the strike. Anti-leader Ramgovind Chaudhary said that the BJP government has not started any work till now and only the works done through Akhilesh Yadav are being inaugurated. The government cannot tell that they have built any 25 feet tall building. Now the Yogi Adityanath government is also raiding the reservation. With this, a conspiracy is being done to kill the rights of Dalits and backward. The government is helping the private limited people and is giving emphasis to privatization. After all, how long will the public be misled.
