Two killed in head-on collision on OMR

Two persons, including a 65-year-old woman from Kerala and the driver of the car in which she was travelling with her husband, were killed after the vehicle collided head-on with another car coming from the opposite direction on the OMR near Tiruporur on Sunday.

Representative Image Chennai: The deceased were identified as Santha of Kerala and driver Kannan from Pudukkottai. Santha’s husband Rajasekhar sustained injuries and has been admitted to a hospital in Kelambakkam. The police said that the car in which Santha was travelling was hit by the car which reportedly lost control and jumped over the median.
