Yes! The film 'Jhund' producer Savita Hayymaath said that in the film Big B has become a tribal teacher and has been told that he had gone to Pune to meet director Nagraj Manjule. Talking to Nagraj there, he realised how big a fan of Nagraj, Amitabh Bachchan, was and when he told Nagraj that he could talk to Amitabh Bachchan about the story of the film and also make him approach.
So Nagraj had immediately agreed to direct the film. Further, Savita had sent the story idea to Bachchan, Big B called her a script after seeing ' Sairat ' and then started working together.
