ICAI declares results of intermediate exams
The results of Intermediate (IPC) and Intermediate (New) courses examinations held in November 2018 were declared by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) on Friday.
The Intermediate exams are part of the Chartered Accountancy curriculum. The Chartered Accountancy curriculum broadly consists three exams, i.e. Foundation, Intermediate and CA- Final for a student to qualify as a Chartered Accountant. Intermediate exams are important for a student to pass so as to start the three-year articleship training under practicing Chartered Accountants.
The results are available on the official website of the institute. Although the Nagpur Branch of WIRC of ICAI expressed its inability to give details of candidates from the region who passed the exams, Chairman of the Branch CA Umang V Agrawal, said the results were satisfactory for the students of the Nagpur Branch. He expressed satisfaction over the performance of the students of Nagpur and said that Chartered Accountancy profession continues to offer the most lucrative career opportunities for the students from all sects of the society.
Agrawal is sure that students from Vidarbha are now giving tough competition to students from metros and expected that many may have secured All India Rank in these examinations. He wished the successful candidates continue their hard work in future exams.
