Gabriela Garcia-Luna’s exhibition Ponds opens at Slate Fine Art Gallery, with a reception from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 11. Her paintings bring a “contemporary perspective about sense of place, landscape and identity.”

If you like Blue Rodeo, you’ll like Mike Plume. The New Brunswick-born, Alberta-based singer-songwriter has shared the stage with Jim Cuddy and Co. In Regina, he’ll present his folk-rock songs at the Artesian on Thursday, Oct. 11. Show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door.
Bushwakker presents an autumn singer-songwriter showcase, featuring Devon Floyd, David Molloy, Trent Leggott, Regan Hinchcliffe, Neil Child and Marissa Burwell. Music starts at 8 p.m.
