HW Endorses: Loewe’s new FW’18 puzzle bags
Wearable craftsmanship. That is the most succinct way to describe the aesthetic of Jonathan Anderson’s Loewe.
The Northern Irish designer took creative control of the Spanish brand in 2013 and has been creating iconic designs since. Combining the label’s legacy of leatherwork with his artful eye, the Puzzle bag remains as one of the most recognisable and popular bags in the market.
Created in 2015, devotees of the bag love its unique take on an everyday essential. Inspired by Japanese origami, Puzzle consists of 41 pieces of leather stitched together with intersecting seams and can be worn many ways - shoulder, crossbody, clutch or a handbag.

As part of the fall/winter 2018 collection, Loewe has released three new iterations of Puzzle.
Puzzle Dots plays on the recurring polka dot theme that is consistent with Loewe, while Puzzle Tweed aims to reinvent the classic houndstooth herringbone print by contrasting it with teal leather. And lastly, the Puzzle Patchwork, with its fun, vibrant red, orange, white and blue panels is a fun twist to the bag’s iconic and minimalist silhouette.
Do you love the new Loewe collection as much as we do? Then good news for you because the drop is now available in stores.
