Asia Cup Bangladesh take on Lanka in opener today

Bangladesh Cricket team will take on Sri Lanka Cricket team in the opening match of the ACC Asia Cup at Dubai International Stadium in United Arab Emirates today.
The match starts at 5.30 pm BDT (Bangladesh Time).
A total of six teams splitting into two groups are taking part in the ACC Asia. Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Afghanistan are in Group-B, while India, Pakistan and Hong Kong are in Group-A.
Top two teams from each group will move into the 'Super Four'. Of them, the top two teams will face each other in the final. The final will be held on September 28.
Captain of Bangladesh team Mashrafe Bin Mortaza said, " ICC World Cup is such kind of tournament that all the cricketing nations want to participate in the tournament. Asia Cup will help us to take preparation for the upcoming World Cup. We performed well in the last three Asia Cup competitions. Those success will give inspiration in the Asia Cup."
Captain of Sri Lanka team Angelo Mathews looked in good form throughout the ODI series against South Africa last month, capping it off with a run-a-ball unbeaten 97 in a massive victory in the final ODI. In the absence of Dinesh Chandimal, Mathews needs to carry that form and step up with his experience to hold the middle order together.
Bangladesh (probable): Tamim Iqbal, Liton Das, Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim (Wicketkeeper), Mahmudullah Riyad, Mosaddek Hossain, Mohammad Mithun, Mashrafe Bin Mortaza (Captain), Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Rubel Hossain and Mustafizur Rahman.
Sri Lanka (probable): Niroshan Dickwella (Wicketkeeper), Upul Tharanga, Kusal Perera, Kusal Mendis, Angelo Mathews (capt), Dhananjaya de Silva, Thisara Perera, Dasun Shanaka, Dilruwan Perera, Suranga Lakmal and Lasith Malinga.
