Priyanka Chopra has proved that if decided, one can extend his abilities beyond certain boundaries. From being a former Miss World to a Bollywood actress to a Hollywood diva and also a hands-on producer, she has shattered the glass ceilings. Yet, her quest for doing something different still remains intact. After playing versatile characters like Alex Parrish, Jhilmil, Mary Kom, Kashibai, Victoria Leeds and many others, she now wants to play a MAN!
While talking about her role from Quantico series at Ficci FLO event, the 36-year-old actress said, “Alex to me is an unapologetic modern female who lives life on her terms. She is extremely flawed, she’s not perfect, she’s a loner, she doesn’t like people, she only uses people… So, she’s basically playing a man, which is awesome, because girls don’t get to play that… And I was like ‘Yes, we get to turn the tables. It’s my dream to be able to play a man… That’s the next thing I want to do.”
PC flaunts it proudly that she has become the first South Asian to play a lead in American network series. Now that’s what we call pushing your boundaries and look beyond your comfort zones, right?
Meanwhile, her engagement with American singer Nick Jonas is the latest buzz in Bollywood and Hollywood industries. There is no official confirmation on anything yet, but their appearances make all of it obvious. She was also spotted boasting the big rock on her finger at an event. She will be next seen in Shonali Bose directed ‘The Sky Is Pink’ along with Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim.
