Kummanam to visit Kerala on June 15
Pathanamthitta: Mizoram Governor Kummanam Rajasekharan will reach Kozhikode on Thursday. It is his first visit to Kerala after becoming the Governor. He will participate in the function held to pay respect to the Director of Bharatheeya Vichara Kendra P Parameswaran. Former Union Human Resources Development minister Murli Manohar Joshi will be the chief guest.
Kummanam will reach Chengannur railway station on June 16 morning and have breakfast with children at Sabari Balasramam built by him. Then he will visit Aranmula Parthasarathy Temple and meet Philipose Mar Chrysostom later.
Then Kummanam will start his journey to Sabarimala. He will meet the chief of Attathodu tribal colony on the way. He will offer a traditional shawl brought from Mizoram and offer dakshina to the chief. He will reach Sannidhanam by evening.
Kummanam will reach Kottayam on June 17 morning. He will visit CMS college after media programs. He will pay respect to his teacher and visit his ancestral home at Kummanam. He will visit the family temple. He will attend a felicitation ceremony for citizens held in Kottayam. He will return on June 20 after visiting Kollam on 19 and Thiruvananthapuram on 20.
