Govt to seek legal advice on solar case again
Thiruvananthapuram: The government has decided to seek legal advice on the solar case again.
The cabinet meet held today took the decision to seek the legal opinion of the Advocate General on the case.
The government has decided to take legal advice in the wake of the High Court expunging Saritha’s letter and related remarks from the solar commission report.
The government should review if it had taken any action based on Saritha’s letter. It should also review the press releases, the court directed.
It is learnt that the government will be taking a decision on initiating further procedures including filing an appeal after it gets legal advice.
