All-New Honda Amaze Explained Variant-Wise
Honda Cars India launched the all-new Amaze at an introductory price of Rs 5.59 lakh for the petrol version and Rs 6.69 lakh (All Prices, Ex Showroom, India) for the diesel variant. The new Amaze would be offered with the 4 variants – E, S, V and VX for Manual transmission and CVT option will offered in S and V variants in both fuel options. Mechanically, it will be offered in both petrol and diesel fuel option – a 1.2-litre petrol engine that makes 89bhp and 1.5-litre diesel engine that makes 99bhp with manual transmission and produces 79bhp when paired with a CVT. The new model will be available in 5 exterior paint jobs – a new Lunar Silver Metallic, Radiant Red Metallic, Modern Steel Metallic, Golden Brown Metallic and White Orchid Pearl.
Honda Amaze (E)
The base variant E will come packed with dual front airbags, Isofix child-seat anchors, ABS with EBD, Day/Night rear view mirror, 4.0cm multi-info display, rear parking sensors, power steering, all four power windows, impact sensing door unlock and front 12V accessory socket.
Honda Amaze (S)
In addition to the Features in the E variant, the Honda Amaze S version is fairly feature rich and will be available with optional CVT gearbox in both petrol and diesel fuel option, integrated LED turn indicators on mirrors, Body-coloured door handles and door mirrors, 2-DIN audio system with Aux/Bluetooth/USB, steering-mounted audio and telephony controls, full-wheel covers, central locking, power door locks with Keyless entry, rear 12V accessory socket, tilt-steering, height-adjustable driver’s seat, rear armrest with cup-holder and adjustable front seat headrests
Honda Amaze (V)
The variant V of the new Amaze will also get an option of CVT gearbox, LED daytime-running lamps, 15 inch alloy wheels, front fog lamps, push-button start with keyless entry, automatic climate control, 7.0cm multi-info display, rear windshield defogger and paddle shifters (on petrol CVT only) along with some features from S variant as well.
Honda Amaze (VX)
The top-of-the-line VX variant will come packed with a new 7 inch Infotainment system with capacitive touchscreen, GPS with turn-by-turn navigation, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, reverse camera, steering-mounted voice controls and cruise control.
To rival with the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Volkswagen Ameo, Hyundai Xcent and Tata Zest, the all-new Honda Amaze has been price very close to its rivals and is the first car in the segment to get an diesel-CVT option.
