Natthu Ramteke now resides in poverty
Mumbai: People often presume Bollywood actors to lead a luxurious life throughout but the 'tryst with destiny' is what changes this cliched belief.
Meet Natthu Ramteke, the man with over 150 films to his name in Bollywood, an actor who spread smiles across the faces of people in the 70s, an actor who was known for his comedy, an actor who was as dynamic and vibrant like any other stars of his time, the man who owns the name 'Natthu Dada'.
Apart from Bollywood, Natthu Dada was also spotted in regional cinemas. A devout comedian in his films, the cards changed for Natthu Dada when while shooting for 'Dharmkata', he met with an aciddent. The accident catalysed his early retirement from the film industry.

With more requirements but less to suffice, Natthu Dada entered the vicious circle of poverty after struggling for a long period.
'Mera Naam Joker'-- a film that resides in the minds of every movie buff was his debut film. Soon, what followed was a line of blockbusters in the form of 'Woh Dharmatma', 'Kasme Vaade', 'Khotasikka'. Working with evergreen starts like Raj Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Sashi Kapoor, Dharmendra and Satrughan Sinha was in his profile.

What appears to be a concern is that despite his stupendous contribution to Bollywood, unlike other actors, 'Natthu Dada' now resides in poverty.
