‘Special arrangement to be made for career counselling of students’
CHIEF Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, while announcing the result of MPBSE class XII and class X said that special arrangement is being made this year for career counselling for students to help them decide their future. Career counselling arrangement will be made in every district. He informed that district wise conventions will be organised for students, who secure over 70 per cent marks. Students will be felicitated in conventions and counselling about the career will be given to them. Minimum 5 career counsellors will be appointed at employment office in each district. Two career counsellors with co-operation of Higher Education Department will be made available in each district. Orientation programme of 500 career counsellors will be organised at Academy of Administration on May 17 and career counselling scheme will commence.
CM Chouhan congratulated the Board of Secondary Education for declaring results on time and for holding examinations without any disruption. He also congratulated teachers of the Government schools, whose tireless efforts bear fruits of good examination results of Government schools in comparison to private schools. Chouhan said that a separate programme will be organised to honour districts and teachers of Government school in the wake of good result of their respective schools.
Moreover, CM Chouhan further mentioned that all the teachers will be merged in Education Department. The seniority of teachers, who are working since a long period of time will not get affected. He expressed hope that teachers will make more efforts to bring quality and improvement in the education in future.
