Uttar Pradesh CM Adityanath tears into Left govt in Tripura
Ahead of the Assembly polls held next week, the chief minister of the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, on Tuesday lashed out at the left front government for “depriving” the poorer section of people of Tripura at large. The Uttar Pradesh chief minister has been campaigning for Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the northeast Indian state of Tripura. “While implementation of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) is going on across the country, the works of the Central Government scheme has not been completed yet in Tripura,” alleged Adityanath. “The centre (government) has been pumping in good amount of outlay for development of healthcare and education but the utilisation of funds is not up to the mark,” added the chief minister. “As many as 550 attacks on BJP leaders and workers in Tripura were reported over here for one and half years.
