Bairavaa Tamil Movie Review
Bairavaa (Vijay) works as a collection agent in a bank. The bank’s manager (Y Gee Mahendra) seeks a help from Bairavaa to conduct his daughter’s marriage.
As Bairavaa does it promptly and attends the wedding, he comes across Malarvizhi (Keerthy Suresh) and it is love at first sight. But he soon realises that his lady love is in deep trouble.
For, she is being chased by a bunch of goons sent by a big shark (Jagapathi Babu), who runs a medical college. How Bairavaa saves Malarvizhi and teaches a lesson to the wrong-doers is all what the film about.
It’s one man show and Vijay does it with ease and elan. The actor simply rocks, be it dance, comedy, romance or action. Alas, he does all these in a film that has an uninspiring second half. The movie needs urgent trimming too.
Keerthy Suresh has less to perform, but compensates it with her looks and mannerisms. Sathish and Nan Kadavul Rajendran tickle the funny bone to an extent.
Director Bharathan has loaded the movie with mass commercial elements which will suit the actor’s image. His dialogues are the back bone of the movie, even an ordinary dialogue has a punch to it.
There are a few scenes that drag the speed of the movie which could have been avoided and the placement of the songs could have been better.
Santhosh Narayanan’s BGM especially during the action sequences are energetic.
Overall, the film is a mass entertainer for Vijay fans with a social message for the family audience.
