All educational institutes to remain closed for 2 more days in Kashmir
Srinagar, Mar 12 (UNI) All educational institutes, including schools and colleges, will remain closed for two more days as precautionary measure in Kashmir valley, though there was no strike called by the separatists.
Meanwhile, the Board of School Education (BOSE) has also postponed all examinations, which were scheduled to be held for two days from Tuesday in the valley.
The decision was taken as precautionary measure, in view of killing of three militants, including two locals -- Eesa Fazli, resident of Srinagar and Syed Owais of Kokernag in Anantnag -- in an encounter with security forces at village Hakoora of Anantnag, in the wee hours on Monday.
Meanwhile, the Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) said there will be no shutdown on Tuesday.
All schools, Higher Secondary Schools (HSS), colleges and Universities will remain closed on Tuesday and Wednesday as a precautionary measure, officials told UNI.
