Under the initiative of Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat, a Youth Exchange Programme, students from Nagaland visited Sanchi Buddhist-Indian Knowledge Studies University here on Monday.
As many as 22 students of Nagaland visited the college and had an exchange of their culture with the students of Madhya Pradesh. These students from Nagaland not only enjoyed the blissful weather of the city but after reaching the college had a very healthy interaction with other students of Sanchi University.
The students exchanged views on education related topics. These students interact with each other on topics such as their culture, ethics, art, education and weather. Besides, they also invited students of Sanchi University to their college in Nagaland.
It is to be noted that under Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat youth exchange programme many States have been linked together with the aim of increasing the mutual understanding among the young students. In the same series, the coordination of Madhya Pradesh has been established from the North Eastern States of Manipur and Nagaland.
For the purpose of increasing interaction and strengthening cultural ties, the three states will share each other's views in the field of tourism, technical, AYUSH, police and higher education. Madhya Pradesh Government has appointed the Higher Education Department as the nodal agency for the exchange of this programme.
The students of Nagaland students who arrived at the Barla academic campus in Raisen took information about various courses, selection process, scholarship from students and professors of Sanchi University. This group of students is also visiting different historical places of Madhya Pradesh. Besides, under the Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat programme of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, various teams from Madhya Pradesh will visit Nagaland and Manipur to understand about different fields of working such as Tourism, Technology and more.
