Srinagar, Nov 14 (UNI) The daily life was affected on Tuesday in parts of north Kashmir district of Baramulla against the killing of two militants in encounters with security forces on Monday.
A police official said that there were no restrictions in any part of Baramulla though security force remained deployed in strength to maintain law and order.
Even though there was no strike call given by separatists, business and other activities were paralysed in Palhalan Pattan and Brath Kalan Sopore in Baramulla.
The spontaneous strike in these areas was observed against the killing of two Hizbul Mujahideen militants in Handwara area of north Kashmir district of Kupwara last evening in an encounter with security forces. One of the militant was a resident of Sopore and another Palhalan Pattan in Baramulla district.
