Reiterating that education should be kept away from politics, AIP supremo and MLA Langate Er. Rasheed today asked for basic drastic changes in the education system to ensure that Kashmiris can compete all-over the world.
Addressing a function at annual day of Islamia Convent School Dedikot Kupwara, he appealed all the stakeholders to keep education away from politics. “This will ensure that the huge talent of Kashmiri students is used for the betterment of society. While Kashmiri students have proved their worth despite passing through the worst turmoil, but they need to go through the process of transformation in the changing scientific world,” he said.
“Not only education should fulfill the requirements of providing job to talented and qualified youth but just also promote moral and ethical values. Government as well as NGOs must join hands and make it sure that the education is kept away from all sorts of disturbances,” he said.
